Effective 12 July 2026
Knobelfuchs collects no data. None. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, and no server โ the app works entirely on your device.
Your game progress (saved boards, scores, adventure progress) and your settings (theme, language, sound volumes) are stored locally on your device only. They never leave it, and uninstalling the app deletes them.
Knobelfuchs asks for camera access only when you tap "Scan a challenge", to read a friend's challenge QR code. Scanning happens entirely on your device: no image is ever stored, uploaded, or shared. You can use the whole app without ever granting camera access.
The app makes no network requests. Sounds and music are bundled with the app; there is nothing to download and nothing to send. Sharing a challenge uses your device's own share sheet โ what you share, and with whom, is entirely between you and the app you share it to.
There are no third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, or crash reporting. Nobody receives your data, because no data is collected in the first place.
Since the app collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children either.
If this policy ever changes (for example, if a future feature required it), the change will be visible here and in the app's release notes before it takes effect. Questions? Open an issue on GitHub.
